The following are links to organisations which have an interest in environmental health.



The Glasgow Centre for Population Health (GCPH, the Centre) is a research and development organisation, working to generate insights and evidence, create new solutions and provide leadership for action to improve health and tackle inequality. The website has references, and podcast links to a back catalogue of seminars given by visiting lecturers that can be picked up and downloaded.
This site provides up-to-date information on what is going on in Scotland to everyone involved with food and health improvement work.
The Alliance represents the range of stakeholders involved in implementing a multi-sector food chain-based food and health strategy.

IFST is the leading independent qualifying body for food professionals in Europe and the only professional body in the UK concerned with all aspects of food science and technology .
The Scottish Nutrition and Diet Resources Initiative (SNDRí) aims to produce a range of easily accessible diet-sheets, which give consistent health messages to the public, and avoid duplication of effort by professionals in Scotland.
SNDRí produces a range of leaflets for health professionals. The diet-sheets produced can be broadly divided into three categories: therapeutic resources for use by specialist health professionals, mainly dietitians - with their clients; first line leaflets for GP's, practice nurses and pharmacists to provide to clients as a stop-gap while they await specialist dietary advice; and leaflets designed to be picked up directly by the public.
Community Food and Health (Scotland) supports initiatives in low-income communities which help people take up a healthy diet.
This site provides a one-stop information and networking resource for staff and volunteers working in food and health.
The healthyliving award is the sign of healthier food when eating out in Scotland.
