Standards compliance:
The graphical version of this site conforms to W3C's "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0", available at http://www.w3.org/TR/1999/WAI-WEBCONTENT-19990505, Level A compliance as specified by the World Wide Web Consortium and endorsed by the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB). Many Level AA requirements are also met.
All pages validate as XHTML 1.0 Transitional and use structured semantic markup.
We strive to obey the spirit of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) of 1995 with respect to the provision of services online, as required by the Disability Rights Commission (DRC).
While we use Bobby to test for accessibility, it is just one aspect of our testing procedure. As a computer programme, the Bobby test is not as reliable as expert evaluation.
There is also a 'text only' version of each site page which is compliant with the available standards.

Accessibility features in your browser:
Most browsers and screens can be adjusted to help you view websites more clearly and this can be done by altering the size, format and colours.
Internet Explorer
Go to Tools/Internet Options and under the General Tab select Colours, Fonts or Accessibility. You can also press the F1 Key for further information on accessibility features within Explorer.
Netscape Navigator

In Netscape, you can specify your own fonts and colours by selecting Edit, then Preferences and then Appearance.

Access keys provide you with a keyboard shortcut to help navigate through the main areas of our site.
How to use Access Keys in your Browser

| Internet Explorer 4 (PC) | Hold down the ALT key and press the number of the access key |
| Internet Explorer 5+ (Mac) | Hold down the CTRL key and press the number of the access key |
| Internet Explorer 4.5 (Mac) | Access keys are not supported |
| Netscape 6 and earlier (PC and Mac) | Access keys are not supported |
| Netscape 7 (PC) | Hold down the ALT key and press the number of the access key |
| Firefox, Mozilla (PC) | Hold down the ALT key and press the number of the access key |
| Firefox, Mozilla (Mac) | Hold down the CTRL key and press the number of the access key |

All new documents on our website have been converted to PDF format using Acrobat 5.0. Older documents may not support all of the functions now available with Acrobat, however you may contact us to provide you with a hard copy.
